Jacobs went to her local theater, the Pittsburgh Playhouse on Saturdays to take acting classes. When she was 8 she began the study of acting. Mt. Jacobs which she graduated from in 2000, Lebanon High School moved in New York City New York in the year 2000, where she attended The Juilliard School. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2004, after graduation at Lebanon High School.
